Water Heater Repair & Installation
Water heater repair and installation for homes and businesses in Cincinnati, Sharonville, Mason and the surrounding area.
Water heater trouble tends to show up at a bad moment. It might be a cold shower, rusty water from the hot tap, popping or rumbling from the tank, or a puddle on the basement floor. Most water heaters give some warning before they quit. A leak from the bottom of the tank usually means the tank itself is done. We handle water heater repair and water heater installation for homes and businesses. On a repair call, we check:
- the burner or heating elements
- the thermostat
- the gas valve
- the venting
- the temperature and pressure relief valve
Then we tell you plainly whether a repair makes sense or whether the heater is near the end. If it needs replacing, we install the new heater and check the water, gas or electrical, and venting connections before we leave. If your water heater is leaking, shut off the cold water supply valve on top of the tank. Then call us at 513-771-7588. We take emergency calls 24/7 across Greater Cincinnati and Southeastern Indiana. If a slow floor drain is part of the mess, we can look at that too. See drain cleaning.

Common questions
Should I repair or replace my water heater?
If the tank itself is leaking, it needs to be replaced. Problems with a thermostat, heating element, gas valve or relief valve can often be repaired. We tell you which situation you are in and what makes sense for the age of your heater.
My water heater is leaking. What should I do first?
Turn off the cold water supply valve at the top of the tank. Then turn off the gas to the heater, or the breaker if it is electric. After that, call us at 513-771-7588. We take emergency calls 24/7.
Why does my water heater make popping or rumbling sounds?
Usually sediment has built up in the bottom of the tank. Water trapped under it boils as the burner heats, which causes the noise. It is common with hard water and is worth having checked before it shortens the life of the tank.
